Help! I'm Locked Out Of My House!

It was a beautiful gorgeous day and I was just heading out to grab/pick up/fetch my mail/newspaper/coffee when it happened. I went to open/unlatch/unlock the door/entrance/gate and suddenly realized I didn't have/forgot/misplaced my keys! Suddenly I was completely/totally/utterly locked out.

My heart started racing and I frantically/desperately/urgently searched my pockets/bag/around the area. No luck/Nothing/Zip. My phone was also inside, so I couldn't even call/text/reach anyone for help. What was I going to the clutches of my backpack. A wave of frustration washed over locked keys in truck me, leaving me feeling like I was in a comedy show gone terribly wrong.

  • Trying {jiggle|force| pry open the door handle|door with my fingernails, but it stood firm as a sturdy fortress.
  • Aftera frustrating period of banging on the windows, I decided to reach out to a locksmith.
  • The {wait|time|procrastination was excruciating as I kicked pebbles on the ground waiting for help. Finally, the sympathetic mechanic arrived and efficiently unlocked my car.

always keep my keys accessible. This minor incident was a reminder that even the simplest things can sometimes go horribly wrong.

Stuck Outside My Car!

It's a serious bummer when you run into locked out of your ride. I mean, what do you do? You can't just leave it there your vehicle. It's a real pain.

You've got to get in to get back inside.

Maybe you tried calling a locksmith? Or maybe you tried picking the lock? It's definitely not fun at all.

Okay, so, this is just awful. I went to grab my phone from my car and now I'm totally screwed. My keys are trapped inside. It's like a comedy of errors!

  • What am I supposed to do now?
  • I completely spaced bringing my spare key.
  • Calling AAA feels like admitting defeat
